The meal was delicious. As both of them had to tell so much, the dinner took quite a long time. Uncle Alex not only allowed Bruno to try a sip of his wine, but also gave him an own glass because Bruno loved its taste so much. Of course, both of them knew that Bruno was too young for drinking alcohol, but this was an extraordinary evening.
When they eventually had finished the meal and washed the dishes, they went to the living room. As they had already talked so much, Uncle Alex switched on the TV. Watching films had always been their favourite common hobby. They watched one film after the other and Bruno drank even more wine.
After quite a long while, Bruno started yawning and fell asleep soon afterwards. As he had drunk much too much for a bear, he even started snoring. Everyone would have got worried and called a doctor - not so Uncle Alex.
Uncle Alex smiled to himself, lifted Bruno carefully and brought him to his bed. There was no chance that his little nephew could ride home on his bike today. He had to sleep here. As he knew how important Bruno's bike was to him, he went to collect it from the courtyard. His nephew's bike must not be stolen just because he was drunk for the first time in his life.
The next day, Bruno had a horrible hangover. But as he was still so happy that his favourite uncle was here, this did not matter to him. The event had to be celebrated, no matter how.
