Now, it was the first time he got worried. He had to go to the hotel immediately.
Foxi figured out the route and soon approached the hotel. In the meanwhile, he had become really exhausted and could hardly walk any more. His paws were aching and his stomach rumbling of hunger. He was just about to starve and urgently needed something to eat.
In the hotel room, he was expected by a heavily snoring Bruno. The expression on his face was very severe and he was moaning in his dreams. Foxi got a bad conscience. What had he done?
He managed to wake up Bruno. Instead of being angry, Bruno's face beamed. He was so happy to see his best friend again.
After a short rest, both of them had recovered and went for a meal. Foxi told the whole story to Bruno and promised to be more careful in the future.
Despite these troubles in the beginning, their first holiday was really great. They had a lot of fun and decided to travel again soon.
