About midnight, he startled. Where was he? That definitely was not his bed. Ah, it was the sofa in the living room. “What a silly bear I am. I should have relaxed, but obviously, I have fallen asleep.” Because he felt so weak, Bruno could not get up and go to his bed. He felt horrible. His throat was sore and all his limbs were aching. He fell asleep again, having wild dreams. Approaching daylight, the dreams became even more frantic. Bruno moved around on the sofa furiously. As Foxi was used to sleeping together with Bruno in their large bed, he did not have a good night’s sleep as well. He was drifting in and out, missing his companion seriously. Suddenly, he heard a bump. Foxi startled. What had happened? He rubbed his eyes and tried to wake up. He urgently needed his brain now. Bruno. Was he in danger?
Foxi got up and went to the living room. On the sofa, there was no Bruno any more. The bear was lying on the floor. After having a look at his friend who was not moving at all, he shook Bruno. No reaction. Foxi reflected quickly about what to do now: he had to call the ambulance. Fortunately, the line was not busy. After a short while, the bell rang. Bruno was put on a stretcher and put into the ambulance. Of course, Foxi joined his friend on his way to hospital.
Foxi knew very well that Bruno hated hospitals and chemical medicine and asked the ambulance staff to choose a clinic for natural healing methods. What a relief it was that they agreed.
